Compliance
Any student who fails to comply with the policies, rules, and regulations outlined in these policies will be subject to disciplinary action and possible termination. Special policies regarding tuition, attendance, and other areas of concern contained in this documentation may be established for programs which operate outside the usual requirements for adult preparatory classes.
Among those classes which may have such requirements are: Surgical Technology, Practical Nursing, Electrical Technician, and Commercial Driving. Copies of compliance requirements will be available to students enrolled in those classes during the first week of class.

Policy 1010: Partial Credit
For some programs, high school EDGE credit or college credit may be accepted and counted toward completion of the program. Opting out allows an adult student the opportunity to waive or “opt-out” of that specific component. In such cases, students are not entitled to a tuition reduction or a partial refund of tuition. Policy 1011: High School Student Program Acceptance and Enrollment Policy
All James Rumsey Technical Institute students that are pursuing acceptance into a high school program will undergo a three-part screening process for consideration. Policy 1015: Scholastic Requirements and Credits: High School

Policy 1019: Withdrawal
Any student who is withdrawing must notify the school’s administration to establish the reason for withdrawal. High school students must receive authorization from their home school counselor to withdraw or drop a class. All students must also have outstanding charges paid in full before leaving the program.
