Firefighting students have been busy. They spend a minimum of 12 hours per week operating as firefighters and completing training assignments. The class took part in “Live Fire Training” on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Thank you to the Berkeley County Ambulance Authority, Bedington Fire Department, Berkeley County Fire, and Martinsburg Fire Department for providing this opportunity.
Seniors are also participating in Work-Based Learning. Thomas Pittinger assisted the crew of Squad 25 from South Berkeley when they responded to a vehicle accident. Wyatt Montgomery and Lauren Elliot have been working with Hedgesville Fire and Mason Brown is working with Shepherdstown Fire.
